Lisa Jaech is a Seattle-based animator, cartoonist, and painter. Her work focuses on the infinite variety of human experience as she strives to understand both herself and other people. She is interested in trying to understand what other people go through, with an awareness that each person experiences a completely unique inner existence that can never be fully reached or understood by an outsider. With these themes in mind, she goes about her art practice in several different media, always maintaining an exploratory, documentarian mindset.
